A Brief History of Britton

Established in 1969, Bison Transport is a leading asset-based freight solution that employs over 2,600 professional drivers and staff throughout terminals in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. After handling a large portion of Bison’s US freight over the course of five years, in 2014, Bison acquired Britton Transport and further strengthened its fleet network. A wholly owned subsidiary of Bison, Britton Transport provides asset based transportation solutions across the lower 48 states with 150 tractors and 270 trailers, including 53’ reefers, dry vans, and flatbed trailers.
